Abstract
The spectra of terahertz pulsed quantum cascade lasers have been studied with high spectral resolution. The typical line width at half maximum was 0.01 cm-1, being determined by changes in the laser temperature during the supply voltage pulse. It is shown that an increase in laser temperature leads to a decrease in the emission frequency. The emission frequency is also decreased with the reduction of the power supply voltage.
