Abstract
A novel method for preconcentration of volatile organic toxicants from the air for their highly sensitive determination has been developed. The method is based on the use of atmospheric moisture as a natural collector of impurities from the air. Condensate focusing offers improved detection, within the limits of 3????10-5 - 7????10-6 ?g/m3, which is not inferior to the best world standards. The method was used in the analysis of air of the Nizhni Novgorod region.
