It is shown that the effect of small doses of ionizing radiation (from 0.04 to 0.33 mGy) on human whole blood
leads to nonlinear changes of erythrocyte hemolysis induced by hypo- and hyperosmotic exposure: initial enhancement
of hemolysis is replaced by partial recovery and stabilization of the osmotic resistance of erythrocytes. |
