An implementation and conditions of existence of continuous burning of a coal-air mixture in rotating and/or pulsed detonation waves are presented. Activated charcoal was used in the research. Hydrogen (less than 5% of the charcoal flow rate and 1% of the air flow rate) is added to the charcoal-air mixture, which allows charcoal particles to be supplied into the chamber and the initial reaction in the gas phase to start. |
