The work considers the formation and evolution of a vortex wake behind an aircraft in turbulent atmosphere. A mathematical model and a numeral code for calculating a vortex wake have been developed. An approach for mathematically modeling the dynamics of an aircraft which has entered another aircraft's vortex wake is also presented. The approach is based on applying artificial neural networks. The accuracy and high-speed performance of flight simulators mathematical software modules while modeling a flight in the area of a vortex wake influence have been evaluated.
