Abstract
Wave propagation along a cylindrical bore in permeable liquid-saturated porous medium is investigated. The cases of Newtonian and non-Newtonian power law liquid in porous medium are considered. It is shown that there are the smaller attenuation and the larger depth of penetration of perturbation for the pseudo-plastic liquid than for the dilatant liquid.
