Abstract
The motion of a monodisperse medium is considered on the bases of self-consistent field method, taking into account the hydrodynamic interaction of spherical dispersed particles. The averaged analytical expressions for the relative velocity and virtual mass of particles are derived as a function of volume concentration and density ratio of the particles and the fluid.
