Structural deformation of nematic liquid crystal under the ultrasound influence is theoretically described. The normal falling of ultrasound on a crystal layer with a boundary, which reflects ultrasound completely, is described. The effect is analyzed using hydrodynamic equations for a nematic crystal. Anisotropic shift pressures are considered in the constructed model. A threshold amplitude and wave number are found for a planar NLC-layer. Results are compared with experimental data. |
