Two spherical particles of arbitrary radii are immersed in a continuum where (at infinity) the constant temperature gradient is maintained. Thermal conductivities of spheres and of the continuum are arbitrary, too. The temperature distribution inside and outside the particles is obtained by the method of multipole expansion. It is shown that the system of two spheres in such a continuum has dipole properties. |
