Abstract
Unsteady dusty gas flow through a set of two cascades is investigated numerically. The first cascade moves across the flow (rotor) and the second one is immovable (stator). Flow patterns of both phases, the carrier gas and the dispersed phase, are obtained for monosized and polydisperse particles. The effects of mixing of particles of different sizes and scattering of particles in particle-blade collisions are studied.
