Аннотация

Представлен обзор современной литературы, посвященной изучению образов прошлого в трудах Флавия Филострата. Особое внимание уделяется исследованиям специфики его восприятия, осмысления и репрезентации исторических событий, обусловленной как влиянием Второй софистики, так и особенностями политической жизни Рима в эпоху Северов. Рассматриваются дискуссионные вопросы, связанные с данной проблематикой.
