Аннотация

Рассматривается отношение официальных римских властей к распространению египетской религии в Риме в I в. до н.э. – I в. н.э. Отмечается, что позиция римских властей менялась в зависимости от политической обстановки и, значительно реже, от личных предпочтений правителей. Автор приходит к выводу, что репрессии в отношении египетских культов были направлены не на египетских богов как таковых, а скорее на местных последователей культов.
