| Рассматривается роль городского плебса Рима plebs urbana в годы гражданской войны в Риме 88- 82 гг. до н.э. На основе анализа данных античной нарративной традиции автор показывает, что активность плебса имела место преимущественно на раннем этапе гражданской войны, в 88-87 гг. до н.э. (особенно во время борьбы вокруг законопроекта Цинны), но уже во время осады Рима войсками Цинны и Мария она пошла на спад в условиях противостояния армий, с которыми городское простонародье было бессильно бороться. |
