| Исследуются некоторые аспекты библейского перевода, выполненного английским реформатором XVI в. У. Тинделом. Применяя метод текстового анализа, автор указывает на протестантскую направленность тинделовского перевода, выражавшуюся прежде всего в замене традиционных понятий Священного Писания новой терминологией. Отмечается влияние перевода У. Тиндела на последующие английские переводы Библии, в том числе и на Авторизованный перевод 1611 г. Также обращается внимание на то, что все труды английского реформатора были посвящены выработке правильного подхода к пониманию Священного Писания. Библия для Тиндела имела статус единственного источника и критерия правильности суждения обо всех происходящих событиях древней и современной ему истории. |
