| The article gives an analysis of the court practice related to the cases connected with building contracts, in particular, the breach of the customer’s obligation to provide an independent guarantee. The author comes to the conclusion that the contractor’s obligation to pay for the performed work correlates with the customer’s obligation to provide an independent guarantee. Some recommendations for customers regarding the conclusion of building contracts are proposed. |
