This paper provides an analysis of the organisation of the «Innoprom» international exhibition in the context of the development of economic interaction between the Sverdlovsk region and the People’s Republic of China. The author studies the new framework of the «Innoprom» that involves the participation of «partner states», an overall increase in foreign presence and introduction of new interaction models, as well as the results of the exhibition for the development of regional cooperation with China.
