The article analyzes the process of convergence of the legislative systems of the EU and Russia in the field of corporate legal relations. The chronology of the development of corporate law in Russia is considered; the current state of corporate law in the EU and Russia is described. While analyzing the EU and Russian corporate law, the prerequisites and directions for their convergence are highlighted. Based on the materials of the article, the conclusion is drawn that the convergence of the EU and Russian corporate law is an objective process that takes place mainly in the form of borrowing (reception) by the Russian legislation of some elements of the more progressive and advanced EU corporate law.
