The records of investigative actions and the testimonies of various persons provide interesting information about everyday life of craftsmen of the court arms workshop and the inhabitants of Bronnaya Sloboda. We also reconstruct the biography of the main individual involved in the case, Sava Sevastyanov from Mogilev, a master of the Armoury. It is conclded that this person prone to affective actions of a violent nature appeared at the Armoury Chamber as a result of deviation from the principles of personnel policy of the court workshops, which was caused by the consequences of the Moscow plague epidemic of 1654.
