The article examines some issues related to legal regulation of the provision of high-tech medical care in the Russian Federation. It is stated that the provision of this type of medical care and the use of new technologies are of high priority in the modernization of the entire health care system. An analysis of the state of affairs in the legal regulation of specialized medical care is presented. Particular attention is given to the study of the acts of federal executive bodies that regulate the provision of high-tech medical care. Based on the materials of the study, some conclusions are made with regard to the problems of legal regulation of the procedure for providing high-tech medical care. A number of proposals are also formulated to address the problems identified.
