| The article examines the inconsistency in the modern Russian legislation and the domestic legal doctrine in relation to the goals and principles of legal responsibility (punishment). We analyze some contradictions both within the purposes and principles of legal responsibility, and between these phenomena. Some ways to resolve them are proposed. |
