This paper's main objective is to give a systemic description of the relationship between the verbal and semantic level and the thesaurus level in the structure of linguistic personality. By using the methods of continuous sampling of linguistic material, compound words were extracted; subsequently, they were grouped according to the initial element. The presented analysis begins with a description of the dominant lexemes and ends with a list of the facts that were used once. According to the quantitative criterion, the material obtained was distributed into three groups: words with the maximum, medium and low frequency of occurrence. As a result of our research, the relation of the linguistic personality to certain categories of culture was identified. A spin-off of the work is the description of the eight words that have not been recorded in the already published editions of the «Dictionary of Russian of the 11th-17th centuries».
