At present, there is an increasing interest in Russian traditional art, in particular, the production of gingerbread boards. However, many questions remain outside the researchers' field of view. The paper describes the collection of gingerbread boards from Gorodets in the Department of Folk Art of the Russian Museum. The author examines the origin, artistic and technical features of these items of art. Particular attention is given to the issues of attribution. All the works considered in the paper are introduced into scholarly circulation for the first time.
