The observations presented in this article are connected with formal features of spoken foreign language produced by Russian native speakers in a situation of emotional tension at the suprasegmental speech level. It is argued that systems analysis of the speaker discriminants is only possible within psychological classification of personality. Psycholinguistic analysis allows us to determine the speaker's emotional state. Moreover, it makes possible to indicate the features of the interference at the suprasegmental speech level by comparing the existing results in the category of tension. The performed experiment proves that changes in the formal features of speech can be used as markers of the speaker’s stress level and can also indicate some form of a personal mental dominant.
