The aim of the work is to study the role of acoustic themes, motifs and images in the semantic organization of poems in the collections of poems «Clouds» and «Purgatory» by G.V. Adamovich and to identify the patterns associated with their use. In this paper, we identify and characterize the sustainable thematic complexes that contain the minimum topics of the thematic field of «acoustics». The semantic role of the acoustic themes and their symbolic meaning are defined. Acoustic images play the role of intermediaries between the worlds, connect an external space of the world realities with the inner space of the lyrical subject's feelings and emotions. Sounds, having a transcendental nature, signal the flickering of spaces and times: real - imaginary, real - transcendental, real - mythological, routine - exotic, past - present - future, life - death, and also become attributes of events of intercultural and cultural status, a sign of the tragic vicissitudes in the subject’s fate.
