This work continues the contrastive studies of the concepts ISTINA and PRAVDA (both mean TRUTH in English) in Russian linguistic consciousness in the aspect of their objectification in the system of language and discursive variation in the media discourse of the Soviet and post-Soviet period. The theoretical basis for the research is provided by the principles for the analysis of the national and cultural factors in the world language model. The language objectification of the concept is considered on the basis of the conceptual analysis methods adopted in the Nizhny Novgorod scientific school for the study of the national culture concepts. The material of the research was the data of the publicist subcorpus of the Russian National Corpus. During our work with the materials of the Russian National Corpus in the Soviet discourse and post-Soviet discourse, a custom subcorpus on the concept ISTINA was created. The results of the research made it possible to present the content and field organization of this concept in the minds of native speakers of the Russian language in the 20th and 21st centuries. The kernel of the concept: Truth is something that corresponds to reality, something that really exists; Truth is a rule, a statement, people's wisdom . The base layer: Truth is the goal to which one strives at all costs; an ideal, a dream; Truth is the object of search . The near periphery: Truth is a relative, changeable category; Truth is a multiple category; Truth is power, an instrument of action. The far periphery: Truth is a way of life, a life guide; Truth is a source of positive things, etc. The practical significance of the research is that its results can be used in university courses for teaching modern Russian, in theoretical courses on lexicology, in special courses and special seminars on linguoculturology and cognitive linguistics, in compiling dictionaries of a new type: dictionaries of concepts and linguistic-cultural thesauri.
