| The practices of involving private military and security companies by certain states to participate in armed conflicts are examined. Some shortcomings are noted in connection with the lack of mechanisms for regulating their activities at the international level. Various approaches to the definition of the concept of «private military and security companies» are analyzed, and the author's definition is proposed. A list of services that can be provided by such companies is formulated. |
