| The article presents an analysis of the information about the Bosporan elite of the Roman era. Particular attention is given to the question of the participation of the royal family members and of the royal administration officials in the management of the Bosporus. We believe that joining the Bosporan elite was ensured not only by a noble lineage and wealth, but also by personal devotion to the king and the unconditional support of his ideas. |
