| The article examines some legal problems related to the low effectiveness of the prosecutor's work in preparing and forming a public case in pre-trial proceedings. A comparative legal analysis is performed of the prosecutor’s legal status at the pre-trial stages of the criminal procedure in the legislation of the USSR and modern Russia. The author concludes that it is necessary to improve the pre-trial procedure for preparing a charge on behalf of the state. |
