Abstract
The article considers the new stage of complex linguo-cognitive description of the concept «mentality» through the prism of participation of the lexemes representing this concept in the active processes of modern Russian speech. The reflexes of occasional derivation, including the expressive one, based on the initial lexemes mentalitet and / or mental’nost’ are analyzed as language signs of cultural appropriation of the concept in native speakers’ modern language consciousness. The author concludes that word-formation of such lexemes as mentalitetishka (o), mentalitetushka (o), mentalitetik, mentalitetishe etc., is realized according to indigenously Russian models of language conceptualization of the world.
