The article presents the results of a study of 228 Internet groups created on the platform of social networks Vkontakte and Instagram, with a total number of participants of more than 1.5 million people. We determine the gender and age structure of the groups, their Internet distribution platform, their standard structure, the availability of a special slang, the direction of psychological impact, and the criteria for identifying these associations. It is established that in all the study groups the actions of administrators are aimed at developing stereotypes of destructive behavior of different degree of severity and orientation among users. It is concluded that the «Z» group is a new offshoot from the subculture of «football hooligans» of the «hulce» type, which poses a great social danger, due to their near-extremist orientation, the «SN» groups also have signs of a near-extremist orientation, while the «KS», «ZK» and «A» groups in terms of the purposes and specific methods of psychological impact on the addressee are similar to the suicidal content of «groups of death».
