The article is aimed at analyzing the author's concept created in the works by the dramatist N.V. Kolyada and manifested by means of the established literary construct «My World». In the course of the research, we used dialectic, comparative and systems research methods. Interpretation of the side note on «My World» shows that in his plays Kolyada acts at the same time as the demiurge who creates conventional reality of his works and as the spectator who is included in the process of its perception along with the characters. In revealing his concept, the dramatist uses the models of «the biographic author», «the author-carrier of the concept» and «the author-subject of speech». Each of these models reflects the contradistinction of «My World» to the outer hostile reality and the ontological dualism of the playwright’s aesthetic and philosophical system in general.
