The article examines some peculiarities of the legal status of residents in the territories with a special regime of entrepreneurial activity. The author investigated the requirements for entrepreneurs wishing to obtain the status of a resident of the advanced socio-economic development territory, as well as the procedure for assigning this status. It is noted that within the framework of the regulation of advanced socio-economic development territories, there are not only direct forms of participation and support on the part of the state, but also indirect forms of state support. In particular, this is expressed in creating the infrastructure of the territory at the expense of budgetary funds.
