| The article discusses the ornithonymic code of the Russian and Chinese cultures using the example of the semantic group of «poultry». We present the results of comparative analysis of linguistic units: linguistic metaphors, figurative comparisons, idioms and proverbs containing ornithonyms. Some universal and specific features of the ornithonymic code, which is translated by the names of domestic birds in the secondary semiosis, are revealed. |
