| The article examines the history of the split among the late Slavophiles, provoked by the articles of V.I. Lamansky in 1887-1888 and 1894. An analysis of the historiography of the issue is presented, the significance of the problem is substantiated. The arguments of the left and right wings of the Slavophiles who argued with Lamansky are analyzed. It is argued that these polemics led to an increase in centrifugal tendencies in the late Slavophilism and the crisis of related journalism. |
