The article discusses a number of issues related to forensic psychological examination of the credibility of evidence (from video recording) conducted in a scientifically based manner. Some widely accepted scientifically valid methods of forensic psychological examination that are used for psychological assessment of the videos of investigative actions are discussed. The authors propose an algorithm for psychological analysis by experts of interrogation videos which increases the evidentiary value of the findings of this type of forensic examination through clearly defined stages of its conduct. A possible procedure for statistical processing of the data obtained is also proposed. It is argued that statistical data processing will allow objectifying the obtained conclusions about the presence or absence of signs of credibility/unreliability, as well as about the differences in the degree of their manifestation in each fragment of the interrogation video.
