The article characterizes the main international acts: declarations, covenants, conventions, agreements, charters adopted by the UN General Assembly and regional international organizations (CIS, CSTO, SCO, EURASEC), ratified and used by Russia in implementing the legal status of foreigners and achieving public security in the field of migration. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the norms of international acts are implemented in the legislation of Russia and they are used directly in the enforcement of public authorities of the Russian Federation. In conclusion, it is stated that international acts are of great importance and play a significant role in ensuring migration security of Russia.
