The article discusses some topical issues of the use of artificial intelligence in the implementation of control and oversight activities by executive authorities. The current state of the transition from traditional forms and methods of state control and oversight to digital state control and oversight is analyzed. The conceptual foundations of Russian legislation are considered, which create a legal framework for the introduction of artificial intelligence technology in the control and oversight activities of executive authorities. Some promising areas in the use of artificial intelligence in the control and oversight activities of executive authorities are determined. An analysis is presented of the existing real risks of using artificial intelligence in control and oversight activities, which can lead to negative consequences in public administration. The author offers a number of regulatory proposals regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the implementation of the control and oversight of executive authorities.
