In the modern period, human health is increasingly becoming the object of legal attention. There are more inquiries from people to various authorities and to other citizens with various claims, including material claims, in connection with events affecting health. There is a new, large branch of jurisprudence, which is often referred to as medical law, which is designed to develop relevant knowledge and implement it in practice. The issue is exacerbated by the growing number of problems concerning human health on the one hand, and on the other hand by the lack of readiness of legal structures and courts, in particular, to address such problems, by the deficiencies of relevant expert reviews and by different forms of mental disorders. The author raises the question about the need to study medicine in legal education, which, unfortunately, is being phased out. The growing need for medical and legal knowledge is justified due to the increasing complexity of the health situation in modern society.
