Based on the analysis of scientific research in the theory of management and the theory of investigative activities, the classification of investigative solutions is considered. The author argues that the system of classification of investigative solutions developed within the framework of investigative science needs to be updated and expanded. Using the concepts studied by the legal doctrine, as well as the provisions of the Federal law «On investigative activities», a number of additional criteria for classifying decisions in investigative activities are proposed.
