The article analyzes the current state of the use of information technologies in Russia in the implementation of state control and supervisory activities in the field of circulation of medicines. The relevant regulatory framework, as well as existing automated systems and electronic resources, are investigated. The author separately focuses on the legislative initiative to introduce remote sales of medicines, which in the future will require the expansion of the use of modern information technologies in the control and supervisory activities of authorized bodies.
