The peculiarities of the legal position of women in the Fatimid state are analyzed on the material of its main law - Da'a'im al-Islam (pillars of Islam). Such branches as family law, criminal law and criminal procedure law are discussed, in particular the issues of the procedure for conclusion and dissolution of marriage, its varieties, the grounds for punishment, procedural rights of women. The author points to the fact that Fatimid women had a certain range of rights and obligations. It is noted that the law maker protects the life and health of women, but with all rigor punishes her in case of violation of the norms established by the legal code «Da'a'im al-Islam».
