We consider foreign experience on optimization of processes of obtaining quantitative and qualitative characteristics of DNA during examination of finger marks obtained from non-porous surface that are necessary for carrying out expert identification studies. The author highlights some problems encountered in the process of obtaining DNA during the examination of hand traces and subsequent identification of an individual. |
