The paper considers cash and non-cash money (bank money) in terms of their economic and legal characteristics as a legal tender. The article attempts to determine the place of cryptocurrency in the system of civil rights’ objects. It is concluded that electronic money and cryptocurrency do not meet the characteristics of money and are not a legal tender, which limits their use in civil circulation. |
