The article is devoted to understanding the problems of nonlinear management of social processes of countering religious extremism and manifestations of religious extremism using the powers of the prosecutor as a component of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation. The authors ground issues that, in their entirety, reveal the activities of the prosecutor in counteracting religious extremism and manifestations of religious extremism among young people using the powers of the prosecutor.
