Abstract
The article studies the experience of government bodies and other institutions in the framework of the undertaken modern social policies in Germany and France on the issues of resocialization of citizens. The German and French legal acts establishing certain forms of material and non-material support to the population are studied. The author concludes that it is permissible and advisable to adopt provisions of book 12 of the Code of Social Insurance of France in order to eliminate a legal gap in the activities for the re-socialization of Russian citizens that are not enshrined in Federal Law № 182 On the Basics of the System for the Prevention of Offenses in the Russian Federation. For the practical implementation of the process of resocialization, the researcher suggests to adopt the German experience of using the concept of «self-help» and «orientation in life». At the regional level of the Russian Federation, the idea is put forward to use the experience of the Hamburg Law On Inpatient and Outpatient Resocialization and Assistance to Victims (HmbResOG), which could be a possible basis for the creation of the Regional Laws on Integrated Resocialization of Citizens.
