Abstract
The article is devoted to understanding the fundamental principles of solving the problem of gaps in criminal procedure law, taking into account the mental and ideological features of the Russian people's thinking. In the article, the most significant thoughts (thoughts-meanings) as manifestations of the spiritual pillars of traditional religions, cultural and historical heritage, and the system of traditional values of the Russian people became the basis for solving the problem of gaps in criminal procedure law. The author draws attention to the fact that any attempts to solve the problem of gaps in criminal procedure law outside the semantic basis of thinking of the Russian people are akin to imitating scientific activities, manipulating the public and individual minds of the scientific community and officials conducting criminal proceedings. The paper shows that when our thinking is based on the spiritual pillars of traditional religions, cultural and historical heritage, and the system of traditional spiritual and moral values, the potential of intuition (legal intuition) provides an ultra-timely solution to the problem of gaps in criminal procedure law.
