The article is devoted to the description of affixal repetition and its role in creating the «external» expression of K.D. Balmont?s poetic works included in the collection «Tol?ko lyubov?. Semitsvetnik». Such expression occurs as a result of the interaction of the words considered with the prefix repetition без- ( бес- ) and other lexemes that are not associated with this repetition. On the basis of contextual analysis, conclusions are drawn about what expressive means are formed during this interaction of words in K.D. Balmont. The analysis of this prefix repetition also takes into account closely related root and lexical repeats. Using the comparative method, it is revealed which word pictures are created in the analyzed poems of K.D. Balmont with the participation of lexemes with the repeated prefix без- ( бес- ).
