| The paper gives the results of an experimental and phonetic study on the differentiation in the rhythmic organization of two illocutionaries - demand with a threat and entreaty. On the basis of auditory and arithmetic analysis, the distinguishing features of two illocutionaries were identified. The study shows that, despite the fact that they belong to one speech act - a directive, the two illocutionaries differ at the level of pauses, stresses and tone movement. |
