The article is devoted to the study of measures of social support for the masters of the court armory workshop of the Russian tsars in the XVII century. The article examines tax benefits of court armourers, forms and amounts of assistance to artisans and their family members in the absence or loss of housing, equipment and tools, in the case of temporary or permanent disability, important events in family life, etc. Based on the analysis of sources conclusions are drawn about the specifics and priorities of the social policy of the leadership of the Armory Chamber.
