The article examines the modern experience of China in implementing a socially-oriented policy in the field of law enforcement. The article analyzes the gradual development of interaction and cooperation between the police and the public in the protection of public order, in the prevention of offenses, in the investigation and detection of crimes. The article deals with issues related to the formation of «public relations» in public authorities in order to create and maintain a positive image of the police in society. It is noted that the problem-oriented approach of the police to solving the problems of the population, the formation of a high level of social responsibility of citizens, contribute to the forming of collective security, and as a result, contributes to the legal integration of society.
